Finite Element Method
What is the finite element method?
The Finite-Element-Method (FEM) is a calculation method used in engineering, which shows important optimization potentials and can verify improvements through its usage in product development.
Part properties (e.g. strength, acoustics, dynamics) can be investigated and analyzed to the greatest possible extent.
The collision analysis are made via motion sequences and subsequently empirically tested.
To perform the FEM calculation, 3D data of the part, assumed load (where do which forces occur?) and a stress-strain curve of the material are required.
